Remember "My Best Friend's Wedding"? They were going to get married if they were both single at a certain age (I think 27, and I'd like to point out that is crazy young to me for a pact). Well, approaching 40....I'm thinking a pact could be a great idea. I mean like if we become good friends....why not?

Now, I'm not saying let's dive into this, because I do have some standards (as should you). I just know that one day I would like to spend the rest of my life with a partner....and here's hoping that if neither of us find someone in say 10ish years....we tie the knot and have a helluva life!

Me:

• Cheap date - I don't drink alcohol (except maybe one drink a year. I just don't like it). I also enjoy a good early bird special.
• Prefer books to most people - so you can tell I am not the life of the party, I'm my own party with a library card.
• Introverted to most, extroverted to those where I fully come out of my shell--will talk your ear off, and not say hello on the phone...I will just start mid-conversation.
• Family oriented - I think family (whether blood or choice) come first. So I'm always there for them even if I don't talk often. Like yes, I will forget to reply via text and just message in my head. Or I'll go a year without talking to a family member, but pick up like nothing has changed.
• Working on turning my fluff into tuff - would appreciate someone that understands my weakness for Halo Top ice cream.
• Likely to be asleep around 9pm.
• Apple products are my jam.
• Liberal (seriously I love Uncle Bernie, how could would it be if he were your uncle?)
• My partner is my number 1 - unless someone else is like dying or equally in dire straights, because like let's be real....I might forget to get something at the store if someone I love is in the hospital. But I'd let you know.
• I want to be his #1.
• I want to travel - let's see all 50 states, and some countries! (Road trips preferred, boats avoided)
• Wants to make sure all the mundane parts of life are the best, because we're tag-teaming the grocery store.
