Quiet, reserved, and intense are words that other people use to describe me. They're probably right, but it is also true that I'm a hopeless romantic with a well-developed, sardonic sense of humor. I listen with the intent to understand, but will openly challenge behaviors or thinking that I consider to be destructive or ineffective. I am self-disciplined, empathetic, understanding, and patient, but firm. I avoid crowds and crave intimacy.

I am genuinely single, very highly educated, progressive, and a non-smoker. I love dogs and am mildly allergic to cats. I have one adult child, but am unable to have more than that now.
