Hello! 35/M in Texas.

Been trying all the dating apps to find that they’re full of people seeking short term flings, bots, or others that are exerting unrealistic expectations. That and the paywalls keep you from really seeing everyone out there and finding someone that really matches you.

A little about me. I’m a father of two daughters and recently separated from my ex of 10 years. I’m in the military and approaching my first retirement in a few years. I enjoy spending time at home but also like going out and doing stuff. I can do anything from window shopping to exploring the outdoors. I’m very open to experiences as long as they are enjoyable. My hobbies include video games, reading, exercise, and binging some good tv. Some things about me. I’m a nerd and enjoy much of that lifestyle. I like tabletop gaming, D&D, gaming, manga, anime, etc… For my appearance I’m 5’6” and probably would be considered average white guy.

I’m seeking that someone that can match my energy. I don’t mind engaging on things and asking questions to further it along but please be able to reciprocate. If every topic, question, or extension is produced by one person it becomes a drain. A relationship should be a two-way thing with both parties investing themselves into it. I understand we have moments where it may be more one than the other but it also shouldn’t be one-sided.

I am on a binge of self improvement and focusing on my diet, health and fitness. It’s important to practice self-care as well.
