I seem to be back here more often these days! I suppose I haven't really found what I'm looking for yet. Thought I would try this again and see how it goes this time. For the times that I have been on here I've met some really nice people, but I feel like one thing I definitely haven't been able to find is someone that shares my enjoyment of video games. Well, I have a couple times but we never got to play anything for some reason, so maybe just really bad luck. I've never been one to think too much about someone not liking them, or even liking everything that I do. It's nice to have someone with other interests that don't align with your own. Though I really feel like these days being able to play games with someone can be really good for the whole bonding thing. So I suppose I'd like to make a point that anyone that's into the same types of games that I am, which I'll outline a bit below, that would be a huge plus! As I've been doing in my last couple posts, in case it is something that you like knowing or find interesting, my personality type is INTP.

I have a very dry, sarcastic, dark, morbid, pretty weird, definitely immature a lot sense of humor. It's a whole lot of things. I'm not at all easily offended, and if you're like-minded in that respect, we'll definitely get along really well! At this point it's definitely one of the highest priorities for getting along with someone. I want to be able to joke about whatever, send whatever weird memes I find, and stuff like that with the person that I'm getting to know.

I play a lot of different types of video games. I mainly play on PC, but I do have a PS5 and a Switch. I only recently got the Switch, and all I have for it right now is Tears of the Kingdom, but I'm looking to expand that soon hopefully! The main type of games I end up playing these days are survival and MMOs. I'm currently playing Dark Age of Camelot on the free Eden server, and had planned on playing the next phase of Season of Discovery in WoW. I've also really been wanting to get back into FFXIV, so if you currently play that then I love to play it with you! I'm also playing Enshrouded, and have yet to pick up Palworld, but I'm planning on getting that soon as well. Also looking forward to Nightengale on the 22nd of next month. Other than that I play a lot of RPG and puzzle games. I also have a real love for horror games. I used to stream them pretty frequently on Twitch, but I've taken a long break since this past October. Might try to get back into that soon.

My musical taste these days can tend to be all over the place, but I do primarily listen to metal (black, death, doom preference) and synthwave. I've leaned a lot into darkwave stuff over the last couple years. I'm honestly pretty easy about music in general, and there's very few genres that I just won't listen to. I'm a fan of horror in general. Obviously the video games has already mentioned, but movies as well. Admittedly I haven't seen a lot of newer horror movies. I really enjoy older ones, and a huge fan of B horror. Big fan of found footage movies as well. I've just got around to watching The Blackwell Ghost series, and I'm currently on the 5th one as of right now. It's been pretty enjoyable, and a nice change of pace since I haven't really been watching a lot of movies or shows lately. I'm also just a big ol nerd that loves Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Star Wars, and loads of other stuff like that. I can't say I'm a super fan of any of them, but I enjoy all of them.

That probably makes a point of most of the important bits. Obviously ideally I'd love someone that hits all the marks that I just mentioned, but I'm never opposed to talking to people that don't, because you never know how things could go. I'm open to pretty much anything here, obviously friends at a base. Distance doesn't bother me. I definitely am not looking for just a one night conversation here. I like to try to invest myself in something that will end up being long-term. I can respect just wanting a casual chat for a night, but if that's what you're looking for then I'd rather not get into that.
