I dunno who's gonna see this at this time of day. Maybe a fellow insomniac, but, basically, above. TL;DR - looking for a companion who, if things go well, may evolve into more, naturally. I'm not pushing for a relationship or marriage immediately.

I've been single a very long time, and after an extended period of getting my life back together after a couple nasty breakups and a bit of a Tailspin, I'm thinking im ready for a new chapter with someone who could become someone special.

I'm 33, have a full time job, not afraid of an LDR, within reason, after I've gotten to know you some. If you're a seller, I'll block you. If you're a scammer, I'll block you. If you ask for money before you ask about my hobbies and personality, I'll block you. If you ask for gift cards, I'll block you. Serious inquiries only. With that out of the way...

I'm Jason. I like reading, cooking, and lots of nerd shit. I'll watch Star Trek or LOTR with you, I'll let you carry me in duos, I'll give you all the attention you could ever want if I'm not already busy with something else. I'll help you build a DnD character or game. I'll send you memes and pictures that remind me of you, I'll send you dumb jokes sometimes, I'll order food for us on a stay home date ..I don't mind outdoors either. A nice walk in fall, fishing and camping, and hiking in the spring and summer, sledding or walking after a fresh snowfall in the winter...all good things. I'm also into Motorsports. I'm not against going out to dinner and a movie, or a concert, or something like that. I can only take it in small doses cause I hate crowds.

Physical, cause that matters to some folks; 5'10", Husky, Dark chestnut hair that sits about medium length, olive colored eyes. I wear glasses that look like they've been through hell, cause they have. They're probably older than anything I own. Your picture gets mine. Or you can just look at my profile picture and tack on about 4 or 5 years. I probably should update it, but it's literally me, a bit heavier than I am now.

Mental: pretty smart, about a 14 probably, on a DnD scale. I like to laugh. Sometimes at bad jokes, sometimes at funny movies, sometimes it's the kid getting hit in the face with a softball, but I genuinely hope he's ok. I like good conversation as long as it's not one- sided and relatively smart. I don't mind small talk, but hopefully there's something deeper. Share your opinions on things, I promise I won't freak on you.

Other stuff: Music is important to me, hence the opening sentence above. Anyone else hyped that simple Plan and blink-182 are back? I know I am. I listen to lots of stuff, too much to list here. If you wanna sing sea shanties with me, I'm down. I play videogames, card games, board games, I watch some anime, some cop shows, some movies, but there just isn't enough time in the day.

I have a cat, a fluffy chunky calico girl named River, after River Tam. I'll send you pictures if you prefer to see her first. Lol.

I'm not particularly picky, my standards are not particularly high. I'm honest, loyal, can be a little cranky sometimes, but hey, that's how it be sometimes.

You: preferably within 5-8 years of myself, though exceptions can be made, within reason. Know what you want, or at least won't ghost after 3 days and be up front about whether this is gonna work or not. I'm an adult. I can handle "I don't see this working out, goodbye, best of luck." Like I said, im not picky as long as you take care of yourself. You don't have to be fit or thin or small or anything like that. I actually like curvy girls more. I'd prefer you don't smoke cigs, weed's fine, drinking occasionally is fine. I don't smoke anything, I do drink a couple beers every now and then, but that's about it

I'd like someone who is okay with texting during the day and calls after work. Even better if we can play something together. I will show as much effort and respect as you do.
