Just amicably out of a long term relationship and utterly lost to the world of dating or making new friends! Apps in my area have been less than helpful so here I am.

To be honest, I'm a boring adult who prefers staying in for the evening and reading a book/binging a show. Low-key activities are more my speed these days. Dinner and a movie, nature walks, browsing around an antique/vintage/consignment shop are great weekend activities. I loved to travel prior to COVID limitations and a weekend in a random city doing all the tourist activities is my idea of a treat. If you have any desire to go to a botanical gardens, a science museum, or to view the worlds biggest ball of yarn then we'd be a good match.

Nerdy, but not completely buried in it. I enjoy comics, some anime, watching let's plays, and going to conventions. I like to cook and bake though nothing elaborate, know how to sew, enjoy crafting projects, and more and more find myself falling down internet rabbit holes to learn about random topics. I've been big on historical podcasts lately and am always looking for suggestions. I have two cats, but like dogs and other pets. I'm big on Disney parks and scented candles/bath products recently.

The practical/potential dealbreakers: White collar career with a job I enjoy, bought a house five years ago, college-educated, never married, child free, politically liberal, financially secure, not religious, drug free, sexual compatibility is important to me, 5'9" and 135lbs (if that matters), not eager to relocate, mostly introverted.

I'm looking for someone to form a long-term relationship with and am used to these things starting off long distance. I want someone I look forward to sending a message, and who I am happy to get a message from, without clinginess and neediness. Relationships take time to develop and if it doesn't work out there should be no hard feelings on either side. I want someone who fits into my life like a missing piece just like I fit into theirs.
