I'm supposed to be working this week but I've given up on trying to get anything done at work this year. If there is one more thing I'd like to accomplish before the year ends, it's to make a new friend. I've made a post before but it didn't really pan out so here's hoping we can use some of that holiday magic (or miracle, iykyk) that's going around. If we should be so lucky, we get to strike up a friendship and we end up getting on like a house on fire. I'm looking to talk with someone long term and on another platform to text, voice, maybe even video chat. I have a career in IT and I spend most of my time outside of work reading, working on little projects, working out, traveling, and being a lifelong learner. This may come as a surprise but I don't really spend a lot of time in front of a screen (big or small) other than when I'm working. I'm getting ready to make a little 2024 scrum board for myself. If you're interested in getting to know each other, send me a chat and tell me about yourself. And if you're nice, maybe I'll even invite you to the 2024 planning session and we can both work on our to dos for next year or we can just talk, either way it'll be great to make a new friend.
