I’ve made some pretty good connections here on Reddit and I wanted to try and extend that into my dating life.

Let’s start off with the basics- I’m male, 34, causcaian/hispanic, non-smoker, single, never married, no kids. I have a house, a car, and a job. I’m mostly looking for friendship at the moment, with the possibility of something more serious if we click. I figure we can chat online for a bit and get to know each other better, then maybe exchange numbers and consider meeting up irl if we feel good about each other.

As far as hobbies and interests go, I have quite a few. My main focus is as a miniature hobbyist/painter- if you are not familiar with the hobby, I encourage you to check out r/minis and r/Miniaturespainting to see for yourself. I don’t just paint minis, I also design them. If you’re curious about my designs, please check out my profile and have a look at my works. Fair warning though, my models are risqué and not to everyone’s tastes. If you like my work, please let me know- I love hearing from fans and others who appreciate my models. I’m also a writer, though I’ve not published anything yet, I’m currently at work on numerous projects and am looking into finding a publisher.

As far as what else I like to do, I’m also an avid reader, gamer, and cinephile. Some of my favorite books include The Throne Of Bones by Brian McNaughton, Teatro Grottesco by Thomas Ligotti, The Street Of Crocodiles by Bruno Schulz, and The Second Apocalypse saga by R Scott Bakker. In general I tend toward reading sci-fi, horror, and fantasy, but I also enjoy nonfiction history and science.

I’m a console gamer. I don’t play as much as I used to, but I still enjoy a good game every once in awhile. I prefer story-driven single player games to multiplayer games. Some of my favorites include strategy games like Xcom and Phoenix Point, The Mass Effect games, The Last Of Us 1 & 2, the GTA & RDR games, Sunset Overdrive and Pathologic 2.

I love movies and television- in fact one of my absolute favorite ways to spend an evening is curled up on the couch watching a movie or catching up on a good show. As with my taste in books, my interest in movies/television generally extends to sci-fi, horror, and fantasy, though I just love to lose myself in a good story, regardless of genre. Some of my favorite films include O Brother Where Art Thou?, Miller’s Crossing, Mad Max: Fury Road, the Alien films, The Lord of The Rings/Hobbit films, The Thing, Jacob’s Ladder, and Silent Hill. As far as television, I love Westworld, Game Of Thrones, Barry, Hannibal, Raised By Wolves, Orphan Black, Chernobyl, Futurama, and Severance.

My taste in music is pretty eclectic. Some of my favorite bands/artists include AC/DC, Nirvana, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Audioslave, Rob Zombie/White Zombie, Coldplay, No Doubt, and many more.

A few other things to know about me- I’m a dog person but I love cats as well. I’m not religious or spiritual. As far as politics go, I’m a leftist.

As far as what I’m looking for in a woman, I prefer someone who is an artistic/creative type. It doesn’t matter what your interests are- painting, writing, sculpting, singing, dancing, cosplay, etc. All I care about is that you have a creative outlet you use to express yourself.
