Hello redditor, thanks for stopping by my post! As you can probably tell from the title, I'm hoping to find some new friends to add to my found family here in the Rockies. The holidays can be a tough time for everyone, and especially so for those who aren't able to rely on the the usual familial connections like yours truly, so I figured it would be the perfect time to reach out and meet some new people! I'm primarily hoping to make some platonic connections with people local to the Denver area, but I'd also be happy to hear from those further afield in Colorado, especially if you think we might enjoy a bit of gaming or hiking together!

So, who's the internet rando? In no particular order, I'm...

• 35, single (happily divorced), with no kids and one amazing fur baby, Max!
• Pretty extroverted, in that being with people tends to recharge my batteries, but I can still appreciate the heck out of a cozy night in
• Described by friends as self-aware, empathetic, loyal, outgoing, and sweet
• Fairly progressive and open-minded, but not politically militant
• An enjoyer of the usual nerdy hobbies like D&D, board games, co-op PC games, movies, reading, and the theater, as well as some more diverse ones like cooking, and woodworking
• Pretty into hiking - I'm convinced there's no better way to exercise and take in Colorado's beauty
• A software engineer working remotely in the tech industry, which affords me financial independence and a pretty flexible schedule
• A moderate cannabis user who's more into relaxing with some music or comedy than the typical Cheech & Chong antics
• Learning my way around neurodivergence (ADHD), and a big proponent of mental health in general
• Maybe a little too into lists...
