Interested in making new friends but this time of year is typically busy with existing friends/family, events, or traveling so it’s not the best time to meet new people. This is a long shot but I’m looking for people local to Colorado, even better if you’re in the Denver area. I’m not opposed to meeting people online but my goal is to build up some friendships/community with people nearby. I’ve lived here about a year and have been unable to make connections that are beyond acquaintances. Thought I’d get a little head start by getting to know people here for a little bit and maybe we can meet up in the new year.
I describe myself as mostly an indoor cat as a lot of the things I enjoy are not outdoorsy. I do hike, bike, and kayak occasionally but max out at around 4 hours and need a break. I am in between extrovert and introvert, I read a lot (mostly news and non-fiction), my humor comes primarily from network sitcoms I’ve watched 1000 times. I cook/bake almost everything you can think of and typically spend at least one day of the weekend in the kitchen cooking for the rest of the week. I’m a hobbyist photographer that mainly takes pictures to remember the places I’ve visited. My latest hobby is experimenting with tailoring my clothes, been buying things from thrift shops and trying to update my wardrobe. Hoping to meet some people with similar interests or lifestyles to meet up with for a meal or catch up with once in a while.
