Hello, internet!

This missive has a dual purpose: firstly to let me vent a few of my dating frustrations out into the ether (can I get a 'oh yeah' for commiseration?!); secondly (and hopefully), to cast my lure* out into the proverbial sea in search of a funny, kind, confident fish with a big vocabulary and high literary drive.

A little about me: single, witty, gregarious, curious and genuine. Energy matches energy, so I'll bring my A game in exchange for yours. I'm very sex positive - be cool and I'll be *super* cool. Physically, I'm a Rubenesque Latina - pretty face, great lips and smile, and the hair - goddamn. You'll see. It's good shit. While I present as pretty straight-laced, I have a growing collection of tattoos that make me very happy.

I love music, wine, dancing and being spontaneous. Right now I'm trying to read Hamlet's Mill and a book about Portuguese wine. I'm also in an early 2000s pop punk musical mood. Think Fall Out Boy, New Found Glory, The Ataris, Blink 182, etc. I'm impressing myself with how well I remember the lyrics to their songs! I love Farmers Markets, NYT word games, the view of the mountains when the sky is clear, sailing the sound and driving out into the woods to get away from the city when it gets too people-y. There's more, but that's not for everyone.

You: single as a damn Pringle, confident (as opposed to cocky), intelligent, curious, enthusiastic and genuine. Please be within 10 years of my age and 20 miles of Seattle, a non smoker, HYGIENIC, DDF, relatively normal (i.e. wondering why you're online looking for companionship, remembering that you're busy as fuck and life is pretty great so finding a person would be cool, but it's not necessarily a priority, but it would be incredible to have great sex with a lovely person again, so a casual perusal of posts seems like the appropriate level of effort to invest) with a great smile. Physically, I'm attracted thicker bois - think muscles under a nice layer of good living - but attraction begins in the mind, so bring that mental sexiness first and foremost.
