Hola universe and such nice, to meet you. Okay so I am definitely not new to reddit or posting , but I figured since dating apps are utter trash, why not try reddit? I'm open to close distance and long distance dating if it happens to work out. Closing the gap would be another topic eventually.

Anywho, I am a born and raised Texan. No, I do not sound country ... well to some people anyway. I'm 5'7 African American, curvy/chubby, I've been told I have a amazing smile or whatever but you can be the judge, I don't like to gas myself lol. My personality is kind of on the straight forward but filled with dry humor at the right time. I do not have children , if I were to have any in the future one would be my limit, sorry not sorry lol (okay maybe with the right person 2). I am a teacher ... elementary if you're curious. Overall I enjoy my job because kids are interesting and weird... kind of like me so I can relate to them lol. I love animals and i’m a new cat mom btw. This is not the green flag for you to spam me cat and dog pics just fyi. lol.

My hobbies... wouldn't you like to know .... I built a few lego projects and I play a few pc games in my free time. But for the most part I'm usually just surfing the web or youtube finding out new things happening in our world. As far as outdoor things I enjoy, well... normal people stuff basically. Going to the movies, museums, festivals, driving around the city, shopping, etc. I haven't been camping yet, but whenever I find my person to share that moment with I'll go. I'm a introvert by nature so I tend to do quite a bit by myself.

Possible red or green flag for you depending on who reads this. I do not have social media. I have been social media free for almost 4 years and have no intentions on rejoining any. I like my privacy and no I do not have anything to hide. It's just my preference.

I don't have a type honestly, but if you are handy and can show me new things I already have a soft spot for you lol. I'm open to all races of men. I just ask that you know how to carry a conversation and don't be a worry wort if I do not reply fast. I have a life okay? lol. I'm open to sharing a selfie or two if you are willing to do the same. Eventually I will want to know who I'm talking to so doing so right off the bat helps to create the openness imo. Annnnd yes I do have no filter photos lol. I hope you do to.
