I'm starting to understand that excellence isn't fashionable. Well, I don't have any interest in being a couch potato to be able to connect with more people. I strive for excellence, and I love those who do. It doesn't mean we always succeed, but we end up in a better place than if we didn't try in the first place!

So, me. I'm 48, white, 6'1'', 200lbs, fit, financially comfortable, I have kids and love being a dad, and I have goals. I'm also bald, and have all my teeth. I don't drink, or smoke, or do anything that the cool kids call fun. At the moment I'm living on a little island in the Caribbean which is probably why I'm resorting to reddit to meet people. I'm building things, and growing food. Today I made a new propeller for one of my solar boats. Yeah, I'm a bit of a hippie. I drive a solar powered boat. And every time gas prices go up everyone wants a ride!

So, I'm pretty happy with life in general. I've had a lot of cool experiences, and have some good people in my life, but there's one big one that I'd like to achieve in my lifetime. That's a real loving, trusting connection with a woman who will be there for me and who i can take care of. Obviously, this isn't something that happens overnight, but ideally I'd like to get into a situation where I can not do lame things like write reddit ads. We can work together to make our life amazing. ...and our kids! Yeah, lets have some kids. No, not tomorrow! Well, you know what I mean. If you don't know what I mean you're probably a little too high strung for me, anyway.

I'd like to meet someone in good health, with a positive attitude who enjoys uncool things like getting up and stretching first thing in the morning, and will think my weird inventions are amazing. Especially when they work!
