Hey there! I'm in search of someone who is looking to be in a committed, monogamous relationship.

I have been through my fair share of romantic relationships since I was 13 and the most recent one ended with my partner (who was living with me) cheating on me. I think a lot about human relationships and introspect about how I handle both good and bad times. I have been to therapy for my own good, while supplementing it with bouncing ideas off friends who keep an open mind. I’m thinking about going for an Ayahuasca retreat later this year.

Professionally, I’m a product designer working in scrum teams to launch software. I may be introverted but I hang out at networking events and also devote my time to mentoring other designers.

I used to be freelance as a club DJ and so one of my interests is music, and not just electronic music. Spotify’s Discover Weekly is a great feature for me. Whenever I hear a great track I think about how it can fit into a DJ set. In recent years I made mixtapes for friends as a bedroom DJ. My favorite genres are house, techno, dub techno, R&B, drum and bass and rap.

Other interests include playing 8-ball and 9-ball pool, strength conditioning in the gym, yoga, video games with friends (Overwatch, Diablo and L4D2), discourse on current world affairs and histories of things, watching TV shows and films and talking about them (most recently binged Better Call Saul and it was terrific!), swimming, and potentially cycling soon. I also enjoy long drives around the island. I drink and smoke socially and am a foodie - I have planned overseas trips in the past just for the food of a certain place, as I believe food is a great gateway in understand a land’s culture and people. I’m an amateur cook and if you’re open to cooking together it’ll be awesome!

In a relationship, I am an open book who is in tuned with his emotions and have figured out how past traumas and lived experiences have contributed to who he is in. I value a sense of security/loyalty, open communication, creation of safe spaces for each other and expressing of emotions through physical touch.

I am a freethinker and prefers to meet like-minded individuals. I’m Chinese but is open to people of any other races.

I have my own place and car, and is open to discussing having children - depending on who my partner is and whether it makes sense for us.
