Dating has become a bit exhausting lately. I'm sure you understand if you're on this subreddit, scrolling through post after post, deciding on who to message. While I have met decent men, and regrettable ones, I haven't met someone who is looking for the same things as I am.

I’m looking for someone who’s SINGLE, honest, patient, kind, hardworking, and emotionally intelligent/available, and of course, someone with whom I just really click. Chemistry is important. Bonus points if you go to therapy, lol.

Some people will want to know this right away, but I’m plus size and working on it. Covid did a number on me, like many others, and I’m doing my best to recover from it. Therapy is helping!

I love movies and TV shows. I almost went to film school, but it was pretty expensive, and I was too scared to chase that dream. Some of my favorites include Jojo Rabbit, Parasite, John Wick, Oldboy, The Matrix, Atonement (though I can only watch it once every, like, 7 years), It Follows, Hereditary, Midsommar, As Above So Below, The Invitation (2015), The Batman (2022), Little Miss Sunshine, Okja (I have a crush on Paul Dano, lol), The Babysitter, Ready or Not (I have a crush on Samara Weaving, lol), The Farewell, When Harry Met Sally, 10 Things I Hate About You... The list could go on.

I embroider! It's my old lady hobby that I do to relax. I also have other old-lady tendencies, such as liking rum raisin ice cream and sorbet, lol. I also think mayo is disgusting but love aioli, lol. Condiments are a whole topic of discussion for me, and I should probably create a flow chart, lol.
