Can you believe the world shut down started 3.5 years ago? I remember those days being so peaceful. Life was just so much easier where most people weren't rushing anywhere.. you got a second to breathe.

That's why I love the rain. The rain gives you an excuse to stop and relax. You aren't as compelled to go out and explore the world. You can sit on your couch and catch up on TV, read a book, maybe take the dogs on a long walk in the rain.. whatever floats your boat.

I'm going to be working. The last three years have kicked me in the butt at my job but I'm also fortunate to be successful at it (even if sometimes I don't believe it). I work in asset management - I don't run money but handle the operations. My weeks are quite busy these days. It wasn't always like this and I hope it gets better.

So more about me? Never married, three fantastic dogs, no kids, homeowner, vegetarian (for life), straight edge (meaning I don't drink alcohol ever), into loud and fast music like punk rock, hardcore, emo and the like. I have a lot of words to sum up myself. At the core I'm either pretty amazing or completely ridiculous. Depends on the day. I don't have ADHD but oh man I can sometimes act like I do. A conversation with me where I'm fully engaged could go from one topic to another to another and back to the original topic without taking a breath. Hours would be gone and it would feel like minutes. I talk a lot. My old boss used to say to me - get to the point Danielle! I still haven't mastered that. Text messages won't show this side of me - I can be very reserved at first before I'm comfortable. But once I am it's like trying to hold back the river Nile. Just not possible. Re looks - my colleagues think I'm reasonably attractive and then I put on red lipstick and it's like *bam* a complete 180. I'm rocking a size 14/16 so chubby (if you're not into that). Normal outfits are comfy clothes but I can put on a dress and look presentable. I am not wearing heels. I'm still 1000% a tom boy through and through. I'd rather get dirty walking through mud than suffer through 3" heels so I look "pretty". Photos in my profile.

What am I looking for? Well i did this a few weeks ago and I think I made some nice friends - but I'm really looking for more. I don't really like dating apps - they're impersonal. I'd like someone to spend the weekends with, who wants to go on hikes together with my (your) dogs. Travel. Stay up late talking and sleep in. Or wake up early and go on a long drive to a random breakfast spot with the best pancakes. Someone who'll text good morning and call me before he goes to sleep. If you're married, unavailable, not age appropriate then I think it'd be best if you found someone else to chat up. Also if you have cats it won't work out. My dogs don't care for cats.
