Hello everyone! I've recently moved back to Western Washington (though I am from this area originally), and I'm having a hard time meeting people in my new location. I'm mostly looking for friends who are chill driving a bit (which I am also willing to do). I have some people in the area, but not anyone whose life is really conducive for what I'm looking for. I still value and invest in these relationships, but I'm just lonelier than I would prefer and there don't seem to be great options in my community for me to meet similar people.

I am more weird than normal (neurospicy), very talkative, pretty far left, fat, funny, nerdy, empathetic, and am in a period of reevaluation and growth in my life (aka midlife crisis) - but it's something I'm actively engaged in. I have some amazing friends and connect well emotionally with the right people, they just all live very far away.

I'm interested in people largely between the ages of 30-48. I usually have most in common with people about a decade younger than me because of my life path.

Ideally I would want to progress to hanging out in person, but we would need to click for that because I'm not looking to force things. Sometimes people are your people and sometimes they're not, you know? I'm also weirdly open to European friends in particular as I'm contemplating applying for a degree program in one of a few European countries.

Qualities I am drawn to in people are openness/vulnerability, empathy, curiosity, emotional intelligence, an interest in growth, active participation in conversation/spontaneous sharing, uniqueness, nonconformity, flexibility, and witty/subtle humor. I am completely ok with imperfect people, as long as they are honest and kind. You can have shortcomings, just don't lie about them. It's also important that you be 420 friendly.

Anyways, if that sounds nice to you, send me a message. I prefer open and vulnerable communication. I know that's hard for people, and I don't want you to share more than you're comfortable with, but what you share should be real.

I may take a while to respond depending on how many quality responses I get. I like to go through any replies one at a time and give them a real chance. I'm open to multiple connections of multiple depth developing, not to just pick the "best" option and barrel forward.
