So I'm taking a break from drinking, which means I'm not out at the bar talking to strangers. So now I have come to the internet to find other bored strangers to shoot the shit with. Not looking for anything, other than some friendly conversation. I would appreciate some suggestions for books, hobbies, podcast, anything entertaining really.
A bit about me: I work in tech doing data stuff, I'm bald with a big bushy beard, I recently started playing stardew valley again on pc, I'm currently reading Snow Crash, I'm not a big tv or movie guy, I recently moved to a new apartment and it's hard not knowing anyone nearby. I tend to live a quiet and boring life and I rather like the predictability that comes with it. Though I think I should take a vacation next spring, don't know where yet.
Easy questions for the sake of conversation:
- How was your day, and do you have big weekend plans?
- What was the best or most recent vacation you've ever had?
- Are you happy of where you are in life, what would you change?
- What should I make for lunches next week? I'm thinking burritos
- If you won the lotto, what would you do(besides paying off debts)?
- what are some better questions than this?
