I’m not sure what to say or if I should even be here right now, except I believe the most important connections in our whole lives can come from strange places—I need someone who doesn’t mind talking throughout the day/night & laughs at my jokes. Someone who will ‘ooh’ & ‘ahh’ when I share my writing or my tweets with you. Someone who wants to keep up with my chatterboxing. I’m not ashamed to admit I’m terribly lonely these days. I believe that kindness is one of the best things on Earth & I believe when we’re kind to each other, everything else takes care of itself.

I’m not having a pity-party & I have a sense of humor that is bigger than I am. I try never to feel sorry for myself, but these are tough times. I’ve been admitted to the hospital >10x in the past year. I have a chronic inflammatory condition for which I may get (barbaric) surgery later this year. I can tell you about it sometime, if you want. Chronic illness definitely has me feeling down, but I’m trying.

I’m looking for someone to say good night to & good morning, too.

Someone who knows that human connection is more important than anything else.

I believe in listening to if not following my gut, even though it has let me down lately.
