Ever see 2 old old people sitting on the porch together, and you know they've been together for so long that they don't remember anything else? They no longer care to live without the other, and see no reason to entertain the notion. Even after their lust has long faded, their love remains unwavering.
Seems that today everyone wants this instant head over heels fall in love situation. ...and the divorce rates speak for themselves.
2 people have to spend enough time with each other that they can work through their differences, find common ground, and truly build trust. It never happens if someone leaves at the first awkward word. I spose this is a consequence of a culture of individual independence. People want to be on their own to the point that they're afraid to be dependent on another person. I think that's a mistake. I want to be dependent on another person. ....and I want her to be dependent on me. Relying on each other we can let our guard down, and be honest and open with each other. Living with someone who is a true ally would be amazing.
Life is short. Don't be afraid to live it with someone.
Anyway, a bit about me. I'm white, 6'1'', 190lbs, very athletic, and an inventor/artist. Also, I don't have hair on top of my head, but I have all my teeth. I live on a few small islands in Central America where I'm homesteading. ...that is building houses, and boats, and setting up a self sufficient life here that is fairly shielded from the economic, and other disasters that have become more and more common. I was extremely happy to be here when the quarantines hit. Also, I have kids. Not those iphone staring kids. My kids run around outside, and build forts. I'd love to have more. Kids, not forts. Well, forts are fine, too.
Anyway, if you're interest, say hi. I'm happy to share pictures. If you're just curious about what I'm doing here, feel free to ask about it. Everyone else, have a great day, or night or whatever you have wherever you are. :-)
