Avast, this be a warning, this ad is long. (And the worst part is... this is me holding back lol.) But I figured I'd give you a decent first impression to go off of, and only mention the few things that are actually VERY important to me in a partner, so if you read all of this, and you're a girl preferably living in the states, and what you've read resonates with you, I would love to hear a response from you.

Now then, on to the actual ad.

If I had my way, my dream would be to live on the ocean.

Eating fish to my heart's content.

Drinking home-made grog

Letting the wind push me towards the future.

Enjoying energetic music, an playing games both of the tabletop variety and the electronic variety. (Board Games/Card Games/Video Games)

And if money truly wasn't an issue, I'd want to run a gamer café that I would name 'Sweet Seas Café'... a place where all were welcome, but bullshit drama would not be tolerated.

A place where proper manners towards the staff would get the customer a small little discount, and those that were excessively nasty (because I get it, we all have bad days), would be charged more.

I'd run the café on a simple "Treat others how you want to be treated" rule, I'm all for encouraging competitiveness... after all, it will be a GAMER café but there's no need to be toxic, or lack tact whether a person wins or they lose. (You can't win em all)

There'd probably also be some manga and anime aspects as well, though my favorite anime are generally not the most mainstream, and even still, everyone could have their own opinions without being toxic about it.

I enjoy my life, it's simple... even without the dream, but the dream would only get me so far if I had to do it alone.

EVEN if I never reached that dream life, I'm content with living a more simple existence, surviving but keeping a MOSTLY positive outlook on life, and making sure I had a roof over my head, food to eat, and the simple luxuries of things like internet and power and running water.

To me, that's enough to find enjoyment out of life.

BUT... I would never want to do it alone. I'm looking for a girl, who enjoys games, cuddling, and understands that Quality Time, Words of Affirmation, and Physical touch are the best love languages.

(Not to disparage anyone who values Gifts, and acts of Service... but... I feel like those put more value on what a person can provide, rather than who a person is, and what they have to offer that doesn't require them to feel

I'm not fond of conflict, and I prefer diplomacy and finding common ground or at least a mutual understanding to agree to disagree... but I will fight for what matters to me, though the way I fight might be unorthodox, because given that I'm also a pacifist, it would take QUITE a lot for me to resort to violence, even if I was being attacked... I've had plenty of situations in my life (both from men and women assaulting me for various reasons), where my durability just ended up making the aggressor look dumb. And personally, if it's JUST me that's the one being attacked, I get the satisfaction of laughing as they try and fail to hurt me. Because there's nothing anybody can do to me, that I haven't already at least contemplated doing to myself.

Sorry for the rambling there, I tend to get lost in thought when I'm writing about myself for the sake of giving people a 'basic' view of who I am.

I'm genuinely honest to a fault, and am patient and understanding and would hope that the girl I find would be as equally patient and understanding.

I'm also strictly monogamous, and while I do have a child from a previous relationship (my daughter is 13 at the time of this ad, and I have a good relationship with her, after all I am her favorite family member, even though she only stays with me during the summers), I am unable to provide the raw materials to help bring another child into this world. (Besides, my genetics are also quite apparent in my daughter, and I don't think it's right to knowingly give someone a bad hand to start life with.)

I'm not entirely against adoption though, (And of course I'm also completely fine with finding a single mother as well, provided there's no residual positive feelings for the ex.)

A few important things before I wrap up this already probably-too-long-ad.

It's important that you've read everything in this ad, and that you understand it and are serious about forming a monogamous relationship with me before you reply.

It's important to remember that I'm not a commodity and if you're with me, neither are you. We're not going to just discard and replace each other.

And, it's important that you're not looking for fame, status, or wealth in a partner, because while I'm rich in SOME ways, it's not the way most people would value. (But that's okay, I'm not looking to connect with them anyway. ^^)
