I live in the southeast (USA), but I don’t mind dating from anywhere in the main 48 states (bonus points though if you’re also in the southeast). This is to say, please don’t message me if you’re outside of the states. This is a non-negotiable.

About me:

Kids: I don’t want kids, ever (empty nesters are perfectly fine; I just don’t want to live with kids or with someone raising them). Wanted to say this first to save people some time. If you are on the fence about this, then go ahead and assume you want them. I don’t want to be in a relationship and then my partner later decide she does want kids. That would be the end of us, so let’s avoid that potential heartbreak altogether.

Tv/movies: I don’t always watch tv, but when I do, I watch Kdramas (the good ones, not the cliché ones).

With movies, I’m down with anything that isn’t old, low-budget, or just plain boring/bad. There are exceptions of course. Some old movies are great, and some low-budget films are absolute gems. I made my living room into a respectable, blacked-out home theater because I’m a nerd about that stuff. I’m happy with what I’ve done with the place and I’m sure you would be too. I have photos if you’re curious.

Video games: I love action/adventure games, platformers, pole playing games (not really into MMORPG’s, but I’ll make an exception for FFXIV if you’re into it), racing games, and story/movie games (a la Uncharted 4). Some of my favorite series are Mario (including Mario kart; beat me at this and I’m yours forever 😌), Zelda (save for BOTW 🤷‍♂️), and Final Fantasy (let’s play through FFX together 😊) among others. I don’t do PC games or FPS games. If you’re mainly into those, then we won’t share many gaming interests.

Alcohol: I drink on the weekends, but not to the point of drunkenness. One doesn’t have to get wasted to have a good time. You don’t have to be a drinker, but it’d dope if we could both enjoy some buzzed company.

Weed: I smoke daily, but not in the cliche sense. Either you’re okay with weed, or you aren’t. This one doesn’t need much more elaboration tbh lol.

Politics: Apolitical. I simply believe that everyone should be allowed all the same rights and abilities, and that all who intend harm on others, in any form, should face appropriate punishment. But I’m aware we live in a world governed by humans, so “hopes” and “realistic expectations” are often two different things, unfortunately.

Beliefs: I have my own beliefs regarding spiritual matters, but I’m going to wait to divulge on that until we get to know each other. My beliefs may differ from others, and I don’t want any preconceived notions tainting what could otherwise be a prosperous connection with someone. Know though, that no one should force their beliefs on anyone, and I’m no different.

Body: I’m in okay shape, but not great. But like many, I’m on a fitness journey. So my body’s days of me being in sub-par shape are numbered. You don’t have to be in shape, but it would be a nice plus if you and I could be jogging partners. There’s just something incredibly wholesome about that imo. No matter your weight, please at least be HWP. This is a non-negotiable for me.
