If you find yourself on this forum and specifically reading this post, chances are you agree it’s great fun to have a online friend to talk to throughout the day and get to know. Someone with their own perspective on things, with a whole fascinating set of hopes, passions, fears, and annoyances. Someone to commiserate with, laugh with, lean on, hell maybe even flirt with. I know you’re out there, so say hi! Worst that can happen is we don’t hit it off and there’s no ceiling on the best that can happen. Seems like a no-brainer in the cost- benefit department.
If you’re at all passionate about music, art, literature, cooking/food, sports, or history we’ll have plenty of common ground to build on. If you’re passionate about anything, I’d still love to hear from you; learning about people and what moves them is endlessly enriching and surprising.
