Hey, I'm looking for some thoughtful companionship, with people who love to discuss ideas or the life they are living. Sometimes that can be philosophical. Sometimes that can be sharing about the things we do throughout the day, like our career, art that we make, the music we listen to, or even a walk outside. Really, I want to learn about someone new. I'm a science fiction writer. I have a good full-time job, but now I'm trying to orient my career more towards my passions in writing. Artificial intelligence, cyberpunk, virtual reality, and space travel really fascinate me. Since I also have an interest in cognitive psychology, and a Masters degree in it, I like to incorporate a lot of psychology ideas into my writing. Consciousness, mental states, altered mental states, mindfulness, individuality, memory. These are the things I incorporate into my writing a lot. But then there is also valuing other people, seeking shared experiences, and looking for fellow travelers through life. Do any of these topics strike you as especially interesting?

My interests are varied though. I love ancient Greek philosophy, enough so that I've read everything by Aristotle. Ancient Roman history is also big for me. Mythology captures my curiosity a lot lately. Mostly, I go wherever my curiosity takes me. I'm hoping to meet other curious people! People looking to experience life, and learn from that experience. Despite my very cognitive way of communicating, I really appreciate nature and directly experiencing the world around me. Being mindful of plants around me, listening to birds, feeling wind on my arms. I get along really well people in their own head a lot, but also the people who explore the world! For me, experiencing the world around me also involves deep appreciation of food. Sharing meals is a meaningful bonding experience.

For what it's worth, I'm really fascinated by psychedelics, I just haven't had the opportunity to try them yet. If you want to explore that with me, or even introduce me to it, that would be really cool.
