I'm a college educated professional who loves to geek out on music, TV and movies. I don't follow most of the big nerd franchises (marvel, star wars, etc) but I do enjoy Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings and have read both. I'm a big fan of original stories and indie movies. I'm sometimes a PC gamer, but it mostly depends on how busy my schedule, I go through periods where I play more and periods where I almost don't play at all.
Big into Midwest emo and related genres currently. Been trying to go to as many live shows as I can and have been having a great time. I also am learning guitar and having a ton of fun with that!
I also love to cook/bake, I recently bought a ninja creami and have been having a lot of fun experimenting with that. Before that I bought a sous vide and was having fun making steaks. I still really want to try sous vide duck like I've seen in reddit.
I'm a leftist and feminist and all that good stuff, prefer people with similar ideas. I'm not into traditional relationships, I prefer more equal relationships without gender based expectations (ie the women clean house). I have no interest in having children at all.

Really what I'm looking for is a life partner, someone to build a life with. I'm not looking to rush anything and want to take my time with the dating process, but that is my ultimate goal. I've met a few people from r4r before, and it's a bit of a mixed bag in my experience, but I did meet a previous partner who was local to me on r4r before and we dated for 7 years, so I thought why not try again?
