If my title isn't entirely transparent, I'll make it clear here - I'm more than a little bit self deprecating, but I promise I'm working on it!

This is me testing the idea that by holding your phone upside down and zooming in slightly, you can achieve an overall more tasteful selfie that doesn't fisheye your face and make it look wider! Did it work? I have no fucking clue whatsoever, why don't you tell me what you think!

Anyways, I'm coming back for another hit of that sweet sweet dopamine that comes from talking to strangers on the internet and seeing if we share any common interests or might even possibly get along! I'm a pretty chatty guy, I've recently found out I probably have inattentive ADHD which explains a lot about why conversations are always going in a million different directions...

I'm looking for platonic or possibly even a romantic entanglement, but the primary focus above all else should be companionship. I want to support you and help you by being present as much as you'd like in your life and vice versa, to encourage each other to reach our goals and become an overall more fully realized and healthy, happy individual. I've had my fair share of struggle recently when it comes to relationships and realize that it doesn't seem to get any easier as we get older, we're all nursing scars or working off of experience with others that laid the groundwork we now try and build a life from.

I don't really have any piercings or tattoos, I'm not cool enough to be in that camp BUT I've always wanted one, and it is way too long and wordy but I feel like it encapsulates a lot of what I'm trying to put out into the world. It goes as follows, "Cynicism isn't wisdom, it's a lazy way to say that you've been burned. It seems if anything you'd be less certain after everything you've ever learned."

I love emo/folk punk music and am more than happy to share my musical tastes and thoughts with you about what music means to me, as mentioned in my title I am a self professed nerd and not shy about it. I have friends around the country I enjoy regularly gaming with, from MMOs to social games to action roguelikes and the like - it would be cool if this is something you could also see value in or want to participate in eventually, but I don't mean to put the cart before the horse!

I like to think I'm a pretty genuine person and I'm happy to open up and talk about pretty much anything, so long as you're willing to be reciprocal. I'm not looking to be a lab experiment to you, or have my life analyzed without anything being shared in kind - that isn't exactly companionship at the end of the day now is it?!
