Let’s introduce myself in a story, have fun reading 😄
I, a 30-year-old Belgian male was looking up to a mountain, I could choose all kinds of paths, there were easy, medium, and hard trials to hike. But one path stood out, it was a very hard route to take, but in the end, got more too medium.
I took this part unknowing of I would ever finish the hike, I could only see the path leading upwards, mountain tops were far away, and there was a flag on one, would that be where the path would take me? I slowly took off, while hiking I enjoyed the view and took pictures of the beautiful nature, for some time I listened to some music, I always liked upbeat music, so a lot was dance or techno.
The first hours flew by, I would stare down and I was amazed at how far I had already gotten up too. I sat down on some big rocks and started reading some books. I brought a couple of books, one was a fantasy book, another a self-improvement book, and last a comedy manga. Since I couldn’t decide I chose to read a bit of everything.
A bit of rain fell out of the sky, so I decided to set up camp in a bit of forest with a small river next to it. Once everything was ready, I felt an instant hunger, so I made a campfire, grabbed some canned beans, and made some Chili sin carne for myself. Chilling and zoning out.
I woke up early, looked at my watch, it was 7 am. Feeling well rested I stood up and packed my things to move onto the hardest part of the trial. I got a bit sweaty but nothing like my CrossFit exercises so I pushed myself through and reached another point of the path, there was the choice again, take the easy path or a hard path, since I felt the only way forward would be the hard part, I took off in that direction.
At some point I got quite tired, luckily there was an empty cabin nearby, there were cracks in the ceiling and floor, but was safe enough to rest in. It was abandoned, but there still was a television and computer inside, weirdly enough both worked and had a connection. I decided to spend some time playing games and watching television, the first games I found were RPGs and shooters. For television I found some comedy shows and series such as Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, and The Big Bang Theory, but also some animes.
After some downtime, I looked back to the path I took and where I already was, I was so proud of myself but felt some emptiness. Loneliness rather. I felt like this path was something to share, but I took it alone.
Would you like to join me on this journey? Maybe you are still at the start yourself, or also somewhere in the middle. I would love to hear that!
Shoot me a message and let us continue this story together!
There is still a lot more to discover! :)
