The title is meant to be satirical. I don’t know why but seeing so many post that are titled “Looking for a genuine connection” has REALLY started to annoy me.
I’d like to address my age and go ahead and trigger some people. I find that how I spend my free time and my personality is most compatible with women in their mid 20’s to mid 30’s. Yes I realize that’s potentially half my age. If this offends you then we probably wouldn’t make good friends anyway.
I’m a professional nerd. I spend my days sitting at a computer and my phone is rarely very far away at night.
I’m a huge animal lover and have way too many pets. I also love the outdoors but not fond of humid midwestern summers.
I watch a lot of tv/movies. Partially because I enjoy it, partially because I’m not a huge fan of going out and doing activities alone.
I am single and hate it but at the moment I’d settle for a good friend that actively participates in conversation. I have a lot on my mind right now and could really use a distraction.
I’m feeling especially out of sorts this morning so this post is probably going to come off even more awkward than normal but hey, if you can’t handle me at my worst you don’t deserve me at my best. lol
I look forward to the three bogus replies I get from this. ;)
