….. but it’s really just annoying that I have forgotten how to relax and do nothing.
So, currently on FMLA, which is what brings me back home after being away for 4 whole years. Everything’s the same, but different. Feels a little fever-dreamy if I’m being honest. I’m a 35 yo NB divorced Filipino dude, living in the East Coast, but taking my leave back in my homeland.
Being away from home in an entirely different country can be overwhelming. Making friends was.. interesting (on top of the pandemic, too!). Which brings me here. To y’all. I haven’t done this in quite a while, it’s been 8 years since I last did something like this!
So, about me? I went to school for psychology and work in healthcare (just on pause for now). I’m a pretty chill person, California Sober. I enjoy going to live shows, reading a good book and going for walks when it’s nice out. But, also: horror, spending time at the library, comedy, the internet, true crime, poetry, art, long conversations, nature docs, roadtrips, making playlists, 80s/90s everything, synth, being on wheels, ice cream, eating out/trying new food, magic
