30 [F4R] Moving from South US to MN - friends??

Hi! I’m a young professional with my dog and we’re packing up and moving! I got my dream job after working my ass off in grad school, internships, and professional experience, but it means leaving the state I’ve called home for 30 years. I don’t have much family here and most of my friends are in different states already, but I’m a little about the ‘brand new’ and all the changes I’m facing as I prepare to move from the South US to Minnesota. Just looking for friendship, despite location, as I navigate change and new circumstances!
After a few messages, I do like to exchange pics & connect on a more personal level, but I’m happy to keep messaging to Reddit at first.
