Hello! Like many of you, I've been pretty busy prioritizing my education and career for the past 10 years. Finally, I've found myself in a comfortable place in life and feel ready to build a lifelong partnership with someone. The problem is that my natural resources career has landed me in a very rural community, and finding a single, like-minded match has proven to be difficult. So here I am!
A little bit about myself:
-Open-minded and progressive, but have spent the majority of my life in small, conservative communities.
-Metalhead. Love all things extreme metal and frequently travel to different cities for shows. Have a soft-spot for punk and hardcore as well.
-I'm a fish biologist, so conservation, sustainability, and outdoor recreation are all inherently important to me.
-Experienced with long-distance. Considering a move internationally at some point (I really love Ireland and Norway, but I'd love to experience other cultures as well).
-Bit of an introvert. I've gotten better, but I can still come across as shy initially.
-Not religious and not interested in being converted to anything.
-I tend to use crass language, which I realize is off-putting to some. Similarly, my humor tends to be on the darker end of the spectrum.
-No kids, never married.
-Quite a few tattoos.
The most important characteristics in a partner to me are:
-Open-minded, critical thinker.
-Willing /able to travel and open to new experiences.
-Honest, kind, and patient.
-Good humor is always a plus!
I'm totally new to this and approaching this with an open heart. Sorry for the novel, but I wanted to list the things that I feel are important for a potential partner to know about me, but please feel free to ask questions. I look forward to hopefully getting to know some of ya!
