OK, so technically my birthday isn't for a few more days. But I've already gotten my big present, and it's RSV. Which sucks - I would not recommend it thus far. At least it's better than the case my dad has, which brings new meaning to "hacking up a lung". So seeing as I'm self-quarantining for a bit, I'd love to find people to chat with. While I'll admit I prefer to talk to women, I'm up for conversations regardless.

What am I looking for? Not much, honestly. I'm not looking for the love of my life, a hookup, or even a meetup. Just people to talk to. I'd be ecstatic to find someone I click with, flirt a bit with, all that stuff, but it's by no means a requirement. I'm happy to swap pictures if you'd like (just let me know), and even video chat when I'm feeling better. My current gravelly voice is not a great representation of how I usually sound.

Who am I, other than a bearer of plague? I'm tall and nerdy. Slimmer side of a dad bod, though I have no kids or SOs or anything of the like. Or even someone who'd be angry if she knew I said that. I have a doctorate in math than I don't use. I read a decent amount, fueled by the Kindle challenges. Mostly sci-fi and fantasy, but I'm happy to take recommendations. I like comedies more than dramas, since I need distractions from the world at large. My favorite book is Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, my favorite movie is Princess Bride, and my favorite band/musician is one of BNL, Billy Joel, and musicals in general. I also like listening to music on Twitch. I'm unemployed at the moment, so my day to day life is not as interesting as yours likely is.
