Hallooo! I'm James.
I'm just a geeky musician looking for a kindred spirit to share life with. I don't really have expectations of finding anything in particular, but figured it's worth a shot!
I write and record original music, and would love to find someone who I can share that passion with. My style's mostly art rock/progressive rock, though I'm not a snob that's limited to one style. Happy to share some recordings! I've been doing this my entire life and people seem to think I'm decent at it, haha.
I also am big into photography (do you see a pattern of creativity here?) and would love to get out and take more photos, so if that's your thing, that's also super cool!
By day, I'm a software/computer security consultant. Oddly, I feel like this line of work tickles the same creative spots as the more artistic stuff. I'm not entirely sure how, but hey.
Since I know this can be a deal breaker for some, I have an 11 year old son. He lives with me some of the time, with his mom some of the time. She and I are on good terms and co parent as best as we can.
I guess physical appearances matter too. I'm 6'1, fairly average build (dad bod, lol) and have long brown hair that seems to make people jealous.
