I can’t count the number of social gatherings I’ve sat through pretending to enjoy looking at pictures of people’s dogs. That’s basically all that the people I’ve come into contact with lately talk about. Well, either their dogs, their relationship (I’m single), or their kids (I don’t have any).
I admit that I do get lonely sometimes. But I’m much more in favor of an adult human companion. I recently heard that DC is the loneliest city in the country. 70% of people in DC are single and 90% of those people want to get married. I never would have guessed that based on past experience. I wish I knew where all those folks are hiding. Probably with their dogs.
I’m 40, intelligent, masters degree, sarcastic, curvy, overall goofball. Would love to find a deeper conversation, something more creative and substantial. I’m looking for someone at least in their 30s, close to DC so we can actually go out, educated, good sense of humor, preferably never married and no kids but I’m willing to overlook those. Someone mature with their stuff together, who can be silly when the moment calls for it which is most of the time.
If any of this has piqued your interest, please message with more than just hi. Age and location is usually a good place to start. I’m unlikely to send a pic right away if that’s a dealbreaker. Don’t even bother if you’re married/attached, cheating, practicing ENM, etc. I’m not interested.
