Hold the whiskey!

Today was semi-productive. I did a lot of organizing/cleaning, gave myself: a lackluster mani, a head and scalp massage/shampoo, and facial. Now I’m in comfy clothes for a night in.

Currently watching the Army v Maryland lacrosse game. Thinking about watching an episode of Indian Matchmaker. I love how choosy some of the people are.

I’ve been told your 30s are a fun time because you have a good grasp on who you are and what you want. Very “this is me”, take it or leave it. I think I’m approaching that territory. Though, I don’t always know what I want.

What I think I want for now is:

Someone I look forward to talking to every day. The chats that are unforced and naturally dance from topic to topic with grace and minimal effort. I try to avoid 21 question style of conversation—back and forth asking just for the sake of it. I prefer to share what’s on my mind in the moment and branching off from there. What’s going on around me, what happened today etc.

I tend to get along better with guys who watch sports v play video games. I feel like a lot of my social life tends to revolve around watching some sort of sporting event haha.

I love sunglasses, lipstick and mascara. Raspberry Snapple iced teas. Gardening. Reality tv. Hockey. Jigsaw puzzles. If I could be anywhere right now, I’d want to be on the beach.

You: 28ish-40ish. unmarried. Not engaged. Unattached. You’re a single fuggin’ Pringle. I don’t want drama. Your fiancée texting me and calling me names is confusing and not fun. Yes— that did happen a few months ago… I wish I was kidding.

If we vibe well I’m totally down for voice calls too. So if you’ve got a deep voice 👍🏻

My goal here is simply to make a new connection. Whatever comes of it.. I guess we’ll see.

Life continues to be hectic at the moment. Lots of changes coming up just in general (and some worries). Having someone to look forward to talking to would be a ray of sunshine.
