I'm looking for a monogamous person who wants to spend the rest of their life with their best friend in sickness and in health. I would like a partner who is capable of taking care of themselves, such as going to doctors regularly, going to bed on time, and being financially responsible. All that stable stuff that is really hard to do sometimes. I am an open communicator and would like a partner who is capable of discussing difficult topics. Things that are important to me are honesty, compassion, and emotional maturity.

Who I am: I like to read and finally got back into it with audio books. They keep me sane at work. I write poetry, but unfortunately inspiration is rare and usually decides to hit me as I am falling asleep. So it goes. I like writing fantasy and sci-fi, but like many people it's unlikely that I will get published, but if I only write between us, then that's enough. I love mycology and trees that grow seed pods. I call them bean trees. I prefer tea over coffee. I'm an animal lover all the way down to spiders, but despise ticks and mosquitoes. I love traveling to ruined castles, visiting museums, and seeing natural wonders. Yet, I'm not a hardcore camper or hiker. I enjoy new foods and have no problem with things like oysters, tapioca, and bones with cartilage in my curry goat. However, I will not eat peanuts/peanut butter. I love to play board games and tabletop RPGs, but I am not really into videogames anymore. Although I will be a voyeur for a story based game. I grew up on Monty Python and MST3k. I love Futurama, but feel weird about it coming back. I'm still sore about Venture Brothers being canceled, and I'm just going to say Anime because there's a lot.

I have a bachelor's degree in forensic biology with three minors: chemistry, biology, and psychology. All that education got me was a government job, so I am not likely to move until I win the lottery. As someone with this kind of job, I am sober. I don't drink. If I do it's probably one drink every six months or less. I'm not interested in a partner who regularly drinks. I don't smoke and I need a partner on the same page.

I have two cats who are spoiled by a screened in deck. I have no kids and have no interest in giving birth. I'm open to possible adoption, or if children are already a part of your life, or no children at all. I'm an atheist and I am enjoying finding meaning for myself in this meaningless existence. I'm progressive and part of the LGBTQIA community. Politics and voting are important to me, especially on the local level.

At 5'3" and hardly 120 lbs, I'd like to get better at working out, because it's something I should do but the burnout is real and it's hard once my cat is in my lap. In fact I am trapped right now. Gondor calls for aid!
