It's a simple thought, I reserve a hotel room, we find some marathon to watch that we only half pay attention to, and we spend the time cuddling and getting to know each other.

A few basic rules -

A) There is no expectation for anything but cuddling and companionship. If that's all that happens, that's what we're looking for, that's a wonderful time.

B) I am open to developments past cuddling, but anything further than the simple scenario depicted above will be initiated by you and not by me.

C) We will practice affirmative and explicit consent. Consent will not be inferred. So, if you choose to move past fully-clothed platonic cuddling, that action will be seen only as consent for strictly that specific action and only that action. I will never take one action as a sign of permission for another. The only way anything occurs is by you initiating it, or stating directly that you desire it.

D) Anything you need to feel safe and comfortable will occur. Whether that is meeting each other in public beforehand, establishing a safe call or any other action. Anything you need to have a positive and safe experience will be the upmost priority. And, it goes without saying, you will be free to leave at any time if you feel even the slightest thing is off.

E) Engaging in this with me will not be seen as an indication that you want to engage with me past this. I would be very happy to form a longterm friendship or arrangement, but that will, again, need to be clearly consented to and I am very open to us just being two passing ships in the night.

F) I will make a lot of wisecracks at whatever we are watching. My apologies in advance. Most people find me pretty funny. I hit at least one out of every three jokes, which I think is a pretty solid rate. But, I would also be honored and privileged to get into deeper topics and be a place of support for you as well. I am comfortable with whatever emotional rabbit holes we might dive into.
