I'm a software tech by day, fantasy novelist by night. I am recently separated, and have a cat and a dog to keep me company. I'm a nerd at heart (Star Wars, Harry Potter, D&D) and love playing classic video games. Shoot, even a good old game of Monopoly, Sorry, or Texas Hold 'Em Poker is fun every now and then.
I enjoy the occasional "fancy date" (i.e nice restaurant, symphony, musical - that sort of thing) but for the most part, I kick it casual. I enjoy traveling, hiking, and eating ethnic foods (Thai and Indian for sure, and I'm good for pretty much anything Latin American). I'm a bit of a language nerd (not Tolkien-level, haha).
Looking for friendship/companionship - local is great (within 3 hrs), longer distance is ok. I would prefer to move to the mountains (western Montana, perhaps) one day so you better bundle up!
