I recently have gone through a breakup, but don't pity me! It may be the best thing that has happened to me in a long while. I feel free, unburdened, and looking forward to reinventing myself. I went to Vegas (a trip I was supposed to take with the ex) and couldn't be happier that I went alone instead. Had the best four days on my life!!

This includes meeting new people. I don't normally approach people and start conversation, but I decided what better time and place to shoot my shot? Could not have been happier with the outcome despite nothing physical happening (what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas is a real thing).

I want to keep meeting people, but where I live isn't really conducive for that same kind of situation. Guess I'll retreat to reddit and maybe make a few introductions.

I live in central NC, but enjoy travel so don't let that be a deterrent. I like trivia and learning new things and will probably destroy you in a game of jeopardy. I'm a workaholic, so not much free time, but I'm learning to do better for me. I rowed crew in college and I'm getting back into the gym to coax some serotonin out of hiding. I say I speak three languages, but not sure if spanglish and franglish counts. I love random, non sequitur comedy, often dark/anti-humor, and I don't always remove my foot from my mouth before speaking. Bourbon > other liquor.
