So full disclosure, as of last year, I'm a widow, and I have a son as well, but he's a baby so take that as you will.
I'm not really sure what I'm looking for, or what I'm hoping to get out of this post, but I'd be totally happy with making a couple of cool, new friends, or at least get some experience going out and finding cool things to do in the Portland area.
I enjoy a lot of pop culture, things like Star Wars, LotR, and almost anything Sci-Fi related. I'm in two different DnD campaigns (though, I enjoy the combat more than the roleplaying). I'm hoping to go to a couple of conventions this year, since they've always seemed like fun, and why not? I like being outside, working on my car, building lego kits, things like that.
Photography is also a huge passion of mine, I enjoy going out on relatively easy hikes that have awesome views, so I can take landscapes. Though for fun I mostly stick to film photography, that way I don't really feel a form of burn out....at least it's what works for me.
I used to go rock climbing a lot and I'd like to get back into that, though I've recently picked up rowing so I'm on my own little fitness journey.
