So.....normally I come on here and try and find a friend. And while I've met some great people that way, something is missing. And then it kind of clicked.....I want a pen pal! 😁
Now, while the idea of an old fashioned writing letters type pen pal sounds nice, I'm not patient enough 😂 so how about email?? We can take things to back in the day a bit. Ultimately I'd still love to make a lasting friend but there's something very freeing about emailing.....there's no profiles to worry about, no pictures really, things can be kind of anonymous or as much as we want them to be. We can just be open and honest and talk. And then done day once we decide to stay friends, we can move to something more personal.
Some quick notes about me: I'm a 31 year old mom whose single. I nerd out for quite a few things and consider myself a huge nerd (I've got past posts if you want specifics). I work full time and have my kids 80% of the time. Which means I don't get out much and don't have easy ways to make friends.
What I'm looking for isn't for everyone. But I'm hoping out hope that someone out there is open to doing this. Ideally you would be close in age, single (so I don't have to worry about a wife coming after me), and you don't mind sending or receiving long emails. The point is for us to get to know each other 😊 that requires a bit of effort.
