Rargh!!! So, I've been on this reading kick for the past 3 months, and I think I unintentionally burned myself out :( My goal was to read 20 books this year.....and I made it to 16. But now I'm struggling.

However! The whole reason I've been able to read so much is because my work gets slow during the winter. And winter seems to not want to end here. So I was trying to make the days pass quicker. And now that I can't find a book to read....and it's snowing and slow at work....I need conversation! :P

Boring stuff first:

I'm a 31 year old mom whose single (not a single mom as their dad is still around). I work full time, spend most of my nights home, and if I happen to get free time I'm either rewatching shows (because for some reason starting something new has been hard for me lol), playing video games, doing my diamond paintings, or zoned out on tik tok (don't judge!)

I'm a super nerd for Harry Potter, anything pirate or zombie related (please don't send pirate jokes as a first message.....you have no idea how often I get those *rolls eyes*), HORROR (one of my big ones), NBC and anything with Tim Burton or Johnny Depp, Zelda (started my love for gaming).

Random facts for you:

I'm addicted to the color purple!

I have an unhealthy obsession with buying sweatshirts and PJ pants :P and I love it!

I work in construction so I speak fluent smart ass and have the mind of a 16 year old boy ("that's what she said" comes out of my mouth way more than I should :D)

I have a bad habit of being able to ramble (hence why this post might become longer than it should :D) but I promise it's not boring rambles!

You:

Close in age. Have a couple things in common at least. Can hold a conversation (as in can keep one topic going or can finish a topic and start a new one). Doesn't take life seriously and can have fun and joke around and give shit to each other.

I'm ideally looking for a a long term friendship :) I'm going through a "fuck love" phase so I'm not looking for anything really past a friendship. Obviously, if something organically happens, I won't stop it :) I'm just not intentionally searching for it. But, a friendship means sharing lives together. I like to send pictures and videos and music I'm addicted to and maybe even watch shows and movies together (not at the same time as having 2 kids makes that difficult lol). I like conversing in gifs and memes, talking about extremely random things, being there for each other if it's been a rough day, and all around just a good friend.
