Hello everyone,

Amanda here… several months ago I made the ultimate wonderful but definitely not too thought out decision to move countries. Reason being mainly that after two decades of work in 12-24 hour shifts I decided that I deserve an extended vacation, you know preferably in some place where summer never ends! So this is how I ended up in Brazil, and oh boy I love it. Now, learning the language beforehand would have certainly helped a lot, but I just wanted to escape. The whole thing was rather spontaneous, I mean as spontaneous as applying for a visa and finding housing an ocean away could be!😅

I’m here to make another similarly spontaneous move, find a platonic online friend of sorts. And I do this for two reasons, first the majority of my friends have always been male, mainly because I guess I was more masculine then women in general, at least career-wise and probably considering hobbies as well. And secondly because at 36 I’m at an age where compliments are at least as necessary to my survival as food and water!😅 Especially when I live in a place where I’m expected to spend 90% of my life in a swimsuit…

I’m sure you’d love to hear about how I look as well… I’m gonna attach a photo here, but in words… I mean, I like to think that I look good, I’m rather sporty, do a shitloads of running and combat sports, I even have some abs, well not on this picture but generally, kind of… somewhat, I promise (?😅) Also I’ve never been a big fan of makeup so freckles everywhere😂 But to be fair I don’t have enough confidence in the internet to just put my face up that openly, so that revaluation probably need to weight for a few days, a few days of interesting chat.

As for who you you should be: Ultimately yourself from the start, possibly your bit cheeky and flirtatious self but I don’t require big gestures just a natural enthusiasm. Obviously it’s not a bad thing if you find my lovely personality attractive or even better find me physically attractive as well. I love having long and meaningful conversations… I find it surprisingly hot to receive a flirty comment in the midst of a political, ideological debate!😅

To be absolutely clear I don’t believe in an actual full-on relationship that is solely online, therefore this isn’t a personal ad for one. I’m looking for a fun friend if you will. Am online companion, a platonic friend as I said.
