So.....

Taking the plunge and seeing who and what is out there. Talking to some cool people as friends. I'd like a significant other, but there's substantial barriers to that right now and I am not super into having a relationship with my phone because in all likelihood you'll be halfway around the world. Butttt......if we like each other enough and the stars align who knows...I'm open to the idea for the right person.

I'm going back to school for a non-nursing healthcare field that involves a bit of neuroscience, which interests me. When I was a kid I wanted to be an astrophysicist for a time and that stuff is still interesting to me. Ancient history and mediaeval stuff interests me too, however I am not as deep into it as some.

I like lots of different kinds of music, mainly rock/metal/electronic/some pop. I used to like R & B when I was a teenager along with some rap. I admire people who can play an instrument, although at this time I cannot and am not taking lessons due to my priorities needing to be on other things. I tend to like music with dark themes....but am not into all the screaming that is in some metal. I really, really like reading song lyrics for some reason and tend to get obsessed with certain songs if the I like the lyrics and the song itself is good. Heavy bass and good drums are awesome and if you add some lyrics that I like are cool, I get the biggest dopamine hit ever.

So......I don't really drink except on holidays and I don't smoke/do drugs. I'm fat but working on it and losing (no plans or desire to stay this way...won't stay or get fat for an SO ).....and I don't have kids and I'm not sure I want any at my age so I lean childfree. Also not really interested in being a caretaker for someone's existing kids or grandkids. Not a big sports chick. I have played some video games in the past but I'm not super competitive or that much of a gamer. I like Divinity OS 1 & 2 for example and Black Desert Online. I love the look of games like the Dark Souls ones but I die too much when I try and play.

I'm 5 foot 7 so generally am attracted to dudes taller than me. For some reason taller lean dudes are attractive to me right now. Not super into beards like some women are. Ultimately I am looking for someone I enjoy spending time with and have good chemistry with if things are to go in a romantic direction. Hopefully you don't have kids and have an egalitarian outlook on relationships and are familiar with doing your own cooking/cleaning/laundry. Similar interests are a must! Need to have stuff to talk about!

Bonus points if you have a nice singing voice and can play an instrument. Accents are nice too haha like British ones for some reason (probably because I'm American). A good singing voice can be really sexy. Sadly, I am not blessed with that.

I'm not poly or into non-monogamy (ofc don't care what others do). I don't do hookups either, but don't judge folks that do. I'd like to have a good sex life with the right person though but in the context of a healthy monogamous relationship.

I've never been outside of North America, someday might like to change that!
