I'm looking for a friendship with a man my own age or older (my age range is 37-54) that will grow into a romantic relationship. The goal is eventually to live together and possibly get married. A partner on the left side of the slash would be perfect (I have another post that goes into more details about this). I do not have children and I do not want them. My ideal partner would either not have children or would have adult children. I'd like someone who can engage my mind and whose company is better than my solitude. I'd love to read next to them while they're reading or working on something. I'd like someone who wants to go try new restaurants with me, sometimes go out and see shows - anything from the The Clocktower Cabaret to the Denver Symphony, go to stay in the mountains (hotels, AirBnBs, etc - not camping) and go to hot springs, etc. Iām a quiet and bookish introvert - somewhat shy but not that shy. I read a lot of non-fiction on my own so Iām always looking for people to recommend guilty pleasure books. My natural habitat is indoors though I can be occasionally persuaded to go for a hike and I do enjoy long walks. I'm nerdy both in the sense that I enjoy nerdy popular culture things like Marvel, Star Wars, Star Trek, SG-1, and Doctor Who and in the sense that I will make jokes about Latin and history. I have very strong opinions on things that don't matter at all (e.g - the proper way to eat Skittles is to group them by color, the double vent on mens' jackets is the only correct option). Iām currently in school for front-end development. On most non-school nights, I can be found knitting while listening to a book, reading a physical book, or rewatching a show while cuddling with my dog and two cats. I would love for someone to join me. I live in Denver and I would I like someone local.
