I'm Travis, 34, located in Orange County, NY. I bought/inherited (my aunt sold me) a house here about 11 years ago now. I reside here with my 2 dogs. Nezzi is a half aussie/half border collie (i have my suspicions of the aussie half) who is a little over a year old now. Ruby is my senior girl, she's 13(14?) and i have known her since the day she was birthed.

I work as a retail manager for a tool store. Starting most of my days at 4am, which leads to a lot of early dinners and breakfast dates, so i hope you're going to be okay with a lot of Dunkin/coffee dates in the beginning.

In my free time, I've started to become addicted to working out. I didn't start the year with a health goal in mind, and yet here i am. Starting February down about 15 pounds and one pant size. I intended on continuing that. Physically, I'm 5'9, bald, ginger beard, glasses, and currently at 205 (aiming for a 170-180 by the end of the year).

I'm very much a homebody, preferring nights in to nights out. The late nights and bar days are gone, and i don't intend on bringing them back. It works out that i am a major cinephile (someone who loves movies), i will watch just about anything on netflix, hulu, amazon, and Peacock these days. Currently, I'm watching David Harbor mess people up as Santa Claus.

I spent some time growing up in PA out by a lake and would love to find someplace like that to raise a family one day. I learned so much about nature from hiking and swimming in my youth, even coming face to face with a baby black bear once. I would love to raise someone in that environment learning about nature and growing things. I have even considered starting a modern homestead, especially given how crazy things have gotten these past couple of years.

So, if you have made it this far. You should know my dealbreaker. I have a son with my ex. He is 6 years old, autistic, and she has primary custody. I spend what time i get with him, but know that if you wish to get to know me, there may come a day where you meet him as well (but thats probably far down the road).

What i am looking for is someone who is serious about looking for a relationship. Someone who values quality time, as it's my primary love language. Someone i can talk to every day and not get bored of, whom i can consider my best friend and talk to about everything. I want someone who is going to be honest, who isn't going to bottle their thoughts and feelings up, but will talk to me and be open with me. Everyone is so quick to just jump into sex these days it seems and consider that happy, but you want intimacy, look your partner in the eye, and trust them with your deepest darkest fears. The things that make you insecure. The things that you buried because you didn't want it to hurt you. Trust that they will help build you up into a better person once they know these things, not tear you down further.
