I want the banter, the shared in jokes, the patience with my incessant ramblings, the cuddles as well as the outdoor adventures. I want someone who thinks their lap is a better seat than the sofa—and someone who is definitely up for playing with my hair. I feel like that’s a whole separate love language that has been missed.

Have a weird and wonderful passion that you want to share? Great! Is it something we can share together? Equally great. Enjoy your own space? Me too. I would say I am an independent person who has many passions. Travel is my main one (especially 🇨🇦). I love hiking, spending days outdoors and reading too many books involving sexy Fae.

Mostly, I want someone who is going to communicate their wants and needs maturely and without fear of judgment. I realise those things take time to build and I am not interested in chatting to someone who tries to force that connection straight away ( “love bombing” seems to be the new buzz word) but it would be good to meet someone who has a genuine desire to get to know me. This includes voice chatting/notes with an actual intent to meet. In an ideal world, we’ll share some nerdy interests but you’ll also be active and do not consider gaming to be your only hobby. I have been on a considerable health journey and am committed to continuing this. I’d like to meet someone likeminded who enjoys keeping active.
