Hi all! I’m a 32M living in Brooklyn, NY looking to meet someone for anything ranging from a more casual FWB situation to a full-on relationship/partnership. I'm more interested in the latter, but open to the former along the way.

To get the less fun part out of the way - I was really socially anxious growing up and was a very late bloomer to the dating scene. I'm proud to say I've done a ton of work on myself, but now I have some catching up to do.

I've been on dating apps for years, but have seldom found a connection that's lasted more than a date or two - so I'm pretty inexperienced when it comes to dating and sex. I've spent a lot of time being ashamed of that, but here I am, putting it out in the open from the get go and hoping for the best!

With that out of the way, my elevator pitch is that I’m emotionally available, go to therapy regularly, practice open and honest communication, and respect boundaries. What a catch, right!?

I’m about 5’8 (aka 5'7), white, curly brown hair, glasses, and rocking a bit of a dad bod at the moment. I’ve never been much of a partier, but I'm usually up to grab a drink or two (literally) socially and I’m pretty fond of a little 420 to help wind down at night.

My biggest passion is music. Alternative/indie/punk/metal is my sweet spot - if you're into that, we already have a lot to talk about! I go to lots of shows and have a pretty extensive record collection. I also write and record my own music under a funny name that I'll tell you if we connect.

I love seeing stand-up, going to trivia nights, browsing museums, and I'm usually up for any of the many unique things that NYC has to offer. On more low-key nights, I love watching movies or playing PS4 - I actually became a gamer for the first time over the pandemic!

When I've told people about my social anxiety, they're usually pretty surprised - so I don't think I'm particularly awkward to interact with, and when I'm comfortable, I can be really silly and love committing to ridiculous bits.
