Does anyone else remember that old thing..."Ladies and gentlemen, hobos and tramps, cross-eyed mosquitos and bow-legged ants"? Why do I still remember it in its entirety but I can't remember where I put my keys? And why was that the first opener that popped into my head?

Anywho...

Glad to have ya here! Welcome to my post. Grab a cuppa and take a seat, may as well be comfortable. What's the alternative, to just stand uncomfortable and perched in a state of readiness? Are you really going to do that for the duration of this?? I think the fuck not.

How about a joke to break the ice? What's the difference between an enzyme and a hormone? You can't hear an enzyme.

Um so ANYWAY a little about me...I'm 36, pansexual (that's why it's F4R!), part-time mom to 2 teens. I have chin length reddish brown hair (color changes often), am about 5'6", and full figured. Happy to exchange sfw pics!

I love to laugh, love books, love cats, love tea & coffee, love flowers. Like to keep things low-key and peaceful, a quiet life, small adventures, beauty in the simple and mundane, etc.

To give an example of the peaceful, quiet life, my weekend so far has consisted of yesterday having a great trip to the library, followed by whiling away the afternoon at my sisters while we crocheted and watched Avatar (of the Airbender variety) and today has been breakfast, yoga, lunch, nap, and reading said books from the library. Later on, I'll pull out my watercolors and paint a picture.

I like people who are fun and funny, can bat good wit back and forth, and people who appreciate good tasty food. I like people who sit inside their integrity and people who are in touch with their feelings and people who believe in mental and emotional self-improvement. Cat people are my people and if you're the kind of person who likes intense intellectual discussions without being pretentious and laughs at fart jokes, you're my people too. If you believe that kindness is always within reach even if fondness is not and that everybody deserves respect and dignity, we should talk. And, of course, the people I'm looking for must love books.

I'm making this post because the last fun activity I did was this event through the historical society and I was so excited when I signed up and when I arrived all full of gusto and ready to learn and socialize, I found myself amongst a group consisting entirely of married couples who were all 2-3 decades my senior.

And, I mean, I had a blast, but that was the moment I realized my life doesn't necessarily lend itself to meeting folks my age in the wild. I could go to a bar but I kind of hate bars (except the barcade because who doesn't love button-mashing Mortal Kombat and pinball??) SO here we are and maybe I'll meet people!

Come as a friend, come as a lover, whatever yall just state your intentions, I don't do ambiguity.
