Hi 👋 I’m Abdul. Ultimately I’m looking for a lifelong partner, though I know that the best relationships start off as friendships and develop into something more over time. So currently I’m just looking for some nice people to talk to :)

At the moment I’m working as a package delivery driver for FedEx. Is this the job that I want to have indefinitely, for the rest of my life? No; for me, it’s just a job to make money, in part for school. I’m working towards earning a BA in psychology, in part because I value education and in part because I want to open up more job opportunities for myself. I should have graduated many times over a while ago, but I’ve run into several setbacks over the years.

Why do I mention this? Apparently it’s a dealbreaker for many people, as once I do mention it, I never hear from the other person again. So I’m being upfront and honest about it right now, in part to filter out anyone who seems to care more about what my current job is than about my personality, interests, and values, or who is quick to judge me based on very little information.

So what am I like? People describe me as kind, quiet, disciplined, sweet, serious, helpful, understanding. Definitely tend towards introversion, which helps me be a good listener and also an intellectual. I value honesty and do think that in most situations it’s better to be honest than to lie, as lying tends to create more problems than it solves and is wrong.

What do I like to do in my spare time? Read (mostly nonfiction), exercise (weight training, jogging, swimming, playing basketball), be productive and accomplish things. Occasionally I’ll watch a show or a film. I have interests in science and philosophy.

What do I look like? See my pics lol. I’m 5’10”, about 180lbs with a lean athletic build. I’m half Egyptian and half Caucasian, but born and raised in the US.

I don’t smoke and I don’t drink (though I’m open to drinking socially). I consider myself to be a skeptical atheist, but not militant. I think that people should be allowed to do and believe whatever they want so long as they don’t harm or violate the rights of others. I don’t have any children, and have never married.
